double the distance, split my mile time in HALF

  • Training Plan

So most of the time when I’m running my plan is no plan. I support that, but if you are looking for guidance, I’ve also had to make plans and support!

  • 1:1 Runs

Located in NYC, I’m happy to do a 1:1 run with you at any pace in the city or BK.

  • Pep Talks

Let’s be honest. The hardest part of running sometimes is starting. Always willing to chat with you via FaceTime or In Person about getting into the sport.

  • Feedback Time

Strava is my favorite thing for all things metrics. Here I am to help you go through your runs and see what we can do more of.

Finn Polakov (they/he) is a New York City runner who has had the joy of running and pacing in multiple different run clubs. Whether you’re looking for an accountability partner to run your first mile with or your first marathon, Finn is able to assist in getting you there with supportive training.

I love everything about running, and my passion for this sport has inspired first-timers as well as burnt-out veterans. Based in NY, Central Park is my favorite place to train. I run in humid summer afternoons, snow, rain and everything in between. I’ve raced everything from the 5K to ultramarathon, and appreciate the differences and challenges each distance presents its runners. My favorite distance to race is the marathon.

The truth is, I don’t know everything about running; but, I love everything about running. Based in Brooklyn, Prospect Park is my favorite place to train. I’ve raced a plethora of 5Ks and ran my first marathon in NYC 2024.

I am here as a “pal” because I recognize how intimidating the running world is. Especially in the world of running culture meeting social media and everyone posting every single workout they do. The truth is, I run because I wanted to find a community when I moved to NYC. I felt confidence in running with other people, learning SO much from every single run I’ve done with others, and want to share that.

Before you know it - you’ll be achieving your goal.

Questions.

  • Yes! I have only been running “seriously” for two years now. We are all starting somewhere and I want to be able to run with you, no matter the pace.

  • Congratulations! Give yourself time to prepare. Please don’t go from this feeling with no training to running next week. If you are currently running 20-30 miles a week, 16 week training is probably for you. Injury goes up the more you push off training.

  • I am not a dietitian and the truth is, I was a disordered eating individual for ten years of my life. I will tell you that carbs are something I personally increase while training - but I will not be restricting anything from your day to day life. I will only recommend.
